Rings for Sako 85 scope

The attached photos are not my rifle, just something I lifted off the internet. I am interested in putting an Optika6 1-6 scope on my Sako 85 9.3x62. I am currently running Optilock one piece ring mounts for a 1" scope, so will need new rings to accommodate the new scope.

I would prefer to use the 30mm Optilock one piece ring mounts, but as you can see in the attached photos, the magnification zoom ring is quite large, and I am a bit worried the one piece Optilock wont get me quite high enough. Has anyone actually run a similar set up? Hoping to find some real world experiance on this.unnamed (3).jpgunnamed (4).jpg

If you have same gun, same scope? Stick to the optilok mounts

I am planing to. Just not sure if the one piece Optilock ring mounts will give me enough height to clear the scope.

The Optilock mounts in the example photos are two piece, so that gives the option of variable height in the rings, whereas the one piece 30mm optilock is only one height which I think may be too low.

Just hoping someone out there might have done this combo before, but judging by the response so far, not many seem to have.

I use 30mm Ringmounts on my Sako AI .222 Rem. The bolt handle just slicks the magnification ring on opening. Will get a pic up later on.

Cheers
