Roadside barrier

If I'm driving down a country back road then it's my responsibility to drive appropriately for the type of road and road conditions. If I drive like a idiot with or without children in the car all the responsibility falls on me.
Should the farmer put out foam matting on corners because I may drive like a cretin?

Well yes, it isn’t about what the barrier is, it is the fact it was deliberately erected and increases the danger massively to the occupants of any vehicle leaving the road, a barrier that was not there before and essentially has been erected to protect nothing of great value.

So you'd be just as upset if he'd planted the trees 50 years ago and they'd grown?
