Roasted garlic

First time I've done this, but it sure as hell won't be the last. I've been missing out!!!

Dead simple. Remove the papery outer covering, slice the top to expose the cloves, them sprinkle with salt and a wee bit olive oil before wrapping in foil and roasting for 45 minutes or so.

I then squeezed the soft middles out, mashed them, and covered them with olive oil in a jar. I can't see this lasting too long! 🤪

Yep. Comes out just right! Obviously adjust accordingly to temperature etc. Oh and I don't wrap in foil. Just salt and olive oil.

Sounds almost as bad as the time I had to grudgingly admit that a venison silverside roast cooks just as well (if not better) in the airfryer than it does in the Aga.
It pains me to admit it, but it's true 😫😫😫

the name " air fryer" is just a sale's gimic, they are just a mini fan oven and grill.
we use ours all the time now the kids have left and only cooking smaller meals.
