My grand parents have seen the first doe and kids this evening in the meadow next to the farm house, anyone else seen any yet?

I saw five does all with young last night. All on same farm about 200 acres. Just south of you Tom.

Yup here too.. huge number of last year's young knocking aimlessly about having been turfed out too. In fact, lots of animals around generally.. Just need to get the first cut done so I can see them!

I went out the other night and stalked into a doe layed down when she eventually twigged i was there she ran up stamping her feet and barking at me so i new she had a kid in the grass ,my farm does no cutting of margins at all till end of the year so its quite hard to see them when the grass gets up even with adult roe. last year i saw triplets and would like to get some on vid this year if possible, atb wayne

Watched a doe feeding a very small kid last night, when a couple of pheasants got too close, she really had a go at them.

I have as yet to see a doe kid (close up), however freshly born one had to be moved out of grass by tractor driver on 25th May.

Saw twins 29 April , they were a couple of days old!

I saw tow sets of twins and one single on Saturday. Made up for the lack of bucks.

I'ts a Gunnera,they grow that big an elephant could hide in them.
