I work for a local council my department has 12 managers
22 operatives 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
Getting worse as the years going on massively bloated with alleged mangers
Probably as bad as the nhs

Which prompts my rant of the week.

My wife (NHS Nurse) and her colleagues have just received a (very modest) pay rise.

On the very same day, the "Managers" at her Hospital increased the staff carpark charges - (England).

Just so very disappointing.
 
Any charity that can afford to pay an employee 70K and I assume they have many more employees is not a charity it is a business. A charity is the local dog shelter where everyone volunteers their time for free.
Yet when the role of CEO of the British Deer Society (a charity) was advertised, and discussed on here, a number of people suggested that, at £60K, the salary was at least £10K too low....

There is a difference between being a CEO and being a pain-in-the-ass middle manager gnome.
