RS62 for 243 Win

Hey Guys just seeing if anyone has had any experience using RS62 in the 243. I have a supply of it I use for the 6.5CM and was hoping I can try it in the 243 also. Im not really looking for data,more just for if its worth trying. On RS website they have starting loads for it but that doesn't mean it works well.

Yes use it both for 243 & 270

RS62 works well in my .243 and is equivalent to N160 in my experience. For example, I tested the same 41.3gr charge of both powders with 100gr Speer BTSP at 300 yards with five shots of each. The result was that all ten shots went into the V bull:

I finally managed to run some test loads up with 75gr Vmax and try them out today in a very strong side wind but i managed Sub MOA on my 2nd set and it opens up again on the 3rd with only a 9 grains difference between all 3. I guess i was just lucky and none showed and pressure signs. Will run a few more of the same on a calm day just to take out the wind factor.
