I have been reading about the apparent conflict between RSPB and the Scottish game keepers association. It is disapointing to read about so many issues that they cannot agree on.
The accustations of people shooting raptors is exagerated at best. Their attitude to heather burning is beyond comprehension. The Cairgormes was ablaze on Friday and without fire breaks, may have been even more catastrophic. They are an extremely wealthy organisationwho in my opinion, should be spending money on conservation rather than self publicity, while working with land Managers instead of trying to persue left wing policies where supporters of country persuits are persecuted with accusations and falshoods. Shame on you RSPB.
