Roe deers rescued by RSPCA and firefighters in Chichester
Their antlers became tangled were unable to free themselves.
Shame that roe suffer from post capture myopathy and are probably dead from stress by now
You would think that the rspca would be aware of that little fact.
Funny thing. I've seen plenty of posts on here over the years by stalkers who've released trapped deer or otherwise done their best to help an animal in distress, and they're always followed by posts saying things like "well done" and "I'd have done the same" etc etc, yet when a non-hunting organisation does exactly the same as you or I would have done, everyone finds reasons to criticise. That's a bit sad, really.More or less what I was going to say. But you were far more polite than I . . .

They'd been left overnight and not freed themselves, so they'd have died anyway. Better to separate them.Shame that roe suffer from post capture myopathy and are probably dead from stress by now
Are you being serious? Is that mange ? Assuming it survived the stress, would the coat ever recover !
I'm asking because I'd like to know. Are you being serious?
