Cleaned the chamber today sprayed brake cleaner in the chamber then used a brass wire brush could nor believe the amount of crap that came out fillings carbon , took the rifle out this after noon fired a few shots the bolt is smooth as silk chuffed I would like to thank everyone for there kind advise on my problem

Bloody marvellous like I said the M77 is an industrial masterpiece of a Canon built a craft I knew it couldn’t be too much wrong with it

Get a chamber brush or similar on the cordless with some solvent and give it a polish.
