This is my personal, screw-cut, Sako .300 Blackout, that due to lack of use and it having languished in the back of the cabinet for the past year just gathering dust, is now up for sale.
Shoots superbly with with sub or supersonic rounds (see targets shot at local range). Comes with dies and brass. Charlie don’t hear it coming! 😁 Optisan scope not included in sale. £1100

What’s the intended use of this calibre it must drop like a stone always liked the sound of one but I can’t seem to find out where it will fit in for usage
I’ve used it on foxes with humane kills in the “engine room” at around 130 yards. If you know your DOPE, you can certainly take them out at greater ranges, and it is considerably more quiet than other moderated centrefires…it’s perhaps slightly more noisy than a moderated .22 LR (but not by much) but considerably quieter than a .17 HMR…and when it hits, it hits like a train with 180 to 220 grain .30 Cal projectiles, so I guess that’s it’s main advantage. It’s certainly not a “do all calibre”. You can load it from subsonic to supersonic without worrying about minimum loads at subsonic speeds causing issues. It’s a niche calibre that has its uses for a certain type of shooting.
