Sako a III 300 win mag
Beautiful delux stock with a higher comb giving a really good cheek weld.
Bore has been borescoped and has a bit of wear, but similar to my 6.5 creedmoor after 600 rounds so still plenty of life in it. Lands are still sharp.
Has has open sights removed ( stock was too high to use them anyway) I think I have them in a bag somewhere safe.
Barrel is not threaded and 24”
crisp trigger at about 2lb
Optilock 30mm
I bought this when I saw it as had a 300wm slot. My plan was to shoot it and then rebarrel in a short magnum (6.5prc) as I know if another person who has done this to good effect. However I got offered a custom action and have gone another route with out firing a shot through it.

As stated I have not actually shot it in my ownership! Hence priced very reasonably. But from what I can see on borescope should shot well.
If I could get factory 300wm locally i would try it next time I’m at the range but none available.

Managed to get a few rounds of 300wm ppu. 1.5” group. Mainly all vertical spread in keeping with myself finding it hard to keep recoil linear ( had to get the rifle quite high to shoot through the “tunnel” of tyres with sound deadening to comply with noise on local range. Sure with a better set up ( cross hair dot on 1-8x28 I was using was bigger that the red square) and premium ammo with good recoil management would shoot significantly better.
