Full 6.5x55 Sako 75 set up
Sako 75 6.5x55 stainless action. Sassen 26” heavy weight varmint barrel 1:8.5. McMillan Sako Hunter stock. Devcon/pillar bedded by Ronin, original trigger lightened to 1.5lb. Barrelled action ceracoated matt black. Britannia picatinny (sits on opti locks) and picatinny rail on fore end. Flush cups in stock. x2 magazines with base plates ceracoated. ASE s5i with cover (praesidia). Arken SH4J 6-24x50 in britannia 34mm QD mounts-sits quite high as was set up for an alpex 4k but easily remedied, currently wearing an aim cheek bag to get head position correct.
I have one full tub of RS60/RL17, one 1/3 full. countless norma brass. Lyman dies. 3 boxes of 100g TTSX, 6 boxes 120g sierra pro hunters. I have loads for both, the TTSX at 3350fps and the sierra 3000fps, both thumbnail groups.
The barrel is in good condition for most of the length aside from some throat erosion. It shoots magnificently-as witnessed by many folks on here-there is a lot of life left in the barrel but I am being totally honest. Visually it’s near perfect, odd tiny chip to coating, stock is mint.
Simply put since a custom 7mm RM came along last january as my long range rifle this hasn’t been out aside from a little range shooting. This would be a great precision stalker or a range rifle, twin mags so possibly a PRS setup?
Full set up £1700, rifle £1100 with mounts, mod. Won’t sell anything separate unless the rifle goes first. I’m not desperate to sell, so no low ballers
! Anyone who knows what this is knows the action and stock are worth the asking price, plus rail and extra mag.
