Sako 75 vs 85 and 90

Not completely true is it?

Owning both I will say notable things over the t3 is:

- Three pos safety (though you can get it for the Tikka now)
- Double stack magazine that can be loaded in the rifle.
- Action scaled to cartridge

All things I would include if I had to design the perfect stalking rifle

Precision wise there is no difference.

Other than sticky stock syndrome, I can say I have had 0 issues with mine.

As mentioned, you do have to cycle with a little authority or the case will not clear the action.
Plus a 3 lug bolt vs. 2 for the tikka.

I have few sako 75 30-06,308,220swift (308action)

The only reason I don’t like the others are the mag systems that stupid upwards pressure to release why o why

But all mine are custom built rifles

Hence they always fetch more money as the action is just DELICIOUS 😋 IN MY MIND

The ability to put a round back in the magazine, as I can on my rem700/sako75/CZ550 is handy but, I don’t find popping the mag out on the tikkas to put a round back in any issue at all.
I could live with a tikka but I don’t need to. I’m reminded of it when I use my Sako quad .22lr. I have to catch that and remove the mag to put it back in if I don’t fire the round.

I’m sure some folk would hate the plastic stock on my Sako 85, or the bedding assembly (which seems to annoy a lot of folk) but they aren’t issues to me. Horses for courses I suppose.
