Wanted: Sako 85 or 90 recoil lug

Its very unlikely anyone will have one lying around, but I thought I would ask before I order a new one with a 1 month lead time.

Its for a standard adventure stock

I had placed an order for one 11 weeks ago and still no further forward.
Anybody got one gathering dust?
Has to be for a synthetic stock.

Thats the one for a wood stock mate.
The one I'm looking for looks like this one in the picture I have added, it just sits in the stock, doesn't have the Screw holes and the stub that drops into the pocket on the stock is a slightly different profile

Ditch it

Buy a Tikka stainless steel recoil lug for T3 and use the forward slot in the action

Bed properly

I didn't even know that that was an option. The stock must need a slot milled out for the T3 lug then?
Is the T3 lug a better option?

Yes - you have to mill a pocket for the new lug and ideally pillar bed the action (and new lug) into the stock

However, once this is done, it alleviates the issues caused by the cantilever design of the original lug design
