Sako M995 magazine issue

The magazine in my Sako M995 .270 won’t feed properly with more than one round in at a time. Load with one round and it feeds perfect, any more and the front of the magazine pushes the round out too steep at the front. Is there a fix I can do or can I buy a replacement magazine? I’ve looked online but can’t find a replacement available in the UK.

Yes with a tool large enough to cover the length of the lips on both sides so they are re formed without steps (don’t use normal pliers you will end up with “steps” in the edges)

Wide bladed panel pliers are good for this ajustment

Thought I’d give an update, may be helpful to someone finding this thread in the future. I took Ronin’s advice and bought these wide pliers IMG_0062.jpeg

They were listed as leather workers pliers and were the perfect size as they hold the whole length of the feed lips on the magazine.

A very minor tweak of both sides and the magazine now feeds smooth as silk, no issues. An easy fix.
Thanks for the advice.
