Salisbury Meet 3

Hi Everyone,

The Sea Fishing trip being organised by Moonraker68 is just around the corner and I thought it would be a good time to organise another stalkers evening in the Salisbury area. I am sure everyone will want to know about that 6 foot conger that got away, it was massive you should have seen it.

I have had numerous people contact me asking when the next one is so all those who are interested in another great evening talking to like minded folk please contact me.

I thought mid July and I'll look for a place with a good garden area as summer should be well and truly here by then.

Hi,
As far as dates are concerned 14th is mid month and a Wednesday.
And as Cyres suggest I'll look for a venue A350/A36 but not far from the A303.

What about the Bath Arms at Longleat? or the Fox and Hounds at East Knoyle.
Both are easily accesable from A303, A350, etc etc.

If there was sufficent interest I might be able to organise some local deer to look/ photo in a park.

Ok, if anyone is interested (sorry if I'm derailing the thread) I will organise a photo and walk and talk in a local park.

If it sounds remotely interesting ( I'm not claiming to be an expert or deer budda) then let me know a suitable date.

I think the Deer Park visit sounds very interesting but not sure that we could fit that into an evening thing. It sounds like an afternoon finishing up in the pub afterwards or an early evening say a 6PM start which is hard to do for me and probably most of us mid week. Both pubs look good, I am away this week but will ring them next week.

Has anyone else got any preferences or other suggestions for location all ideas welcomed.
