Sauer 202

Just bought a new Sauer 202 Synthetic, love the rifle, but my old Mannlicher M had a lovely butter knife bolt ,Sauer do one on the Elegance etc. My question, is it possible to dissemble the bolt, anyone know how to do this, and buy a bolt handle only, or would I have to buy a complete bolt for my 270win, just a whim, but if not too expensive I'd like to change it. Rifle was very discounted from Macloeds inTain. deerwarden

Why not give Gregor at Macleods a ring. I live in Worcestershre and I bought my Sako 75 from him. None of the local dealers could touch his price even allowing for couriering etc. I ended up buying the full package from him, best price on a Schmidt Bender 7x50 anywhere.

You can easily diassemble the bolt for cleaning but you cannot change the bolt handle. That requires a whole new bolt.
