Having looked at a nice 404 advertised on here I suddenly noticed the relative similarities of the 404 and 202. I have a few 202's and love them. I've looked at the 404 and like the additional safety aspect of being able to have a round chambered but the firing pin not cocked.
In the pictures it looks like a standard 202 bolt, but with the additional cocking mechanism added. Has anyone got a 202 and 404 they could look at and try a 404 bolt in a 202 action? I doubt Sauer would sell the components to make this mod, but I'm curious.
