I had an enquiry for building a rifle for Hunting in Sweden but logistics were a bit problematic in terms of travelling with the rifle.
I had a classic Sako L579 to play with and a blank canvas along with a Mcmillan A5 stock and floorplate bottom metal.
I opted for a Pendragon Precision stainless 1-8 twist barrel cut it to 20" and chambered it in 6XC...I solved the travelling issue by turning the rifle into a switch barrel system with my locking collar utilising the rebated style ring at the base of the action thread for a location reference point to headspace on. David Tubb was contacted, helpful as always and a headspace gauge and case are on their way...
