Scope bases for PH1100

Hello,

I have a Parker-Hale 1100 in .270win and I am looking for a new set of bases and rings to fit a Pulsar ns455. I am thinking about getting a set of Leupold QR bases but I am unsure about the height. Should I get the high or the super high rings (worried about the bolt hitting the scope). Also, are the FN Mauser Leupold QR bases appropriate for my rifle?

Any Mauser 98 commercial bases should fit, assuming no one has messed with the original holes, and they are centered perfectly from the start.

There are many, Rusan I recommend, but all matching the 98 commercial bases should fit as long as it’s a commercial action with no bulb and no thumb cutout in the LHS.

Build your base with coins in each receiver end, out the scope on top when it clears the bolt handle, and then measure the total height of the coin stack required. You can then look at the manufacturers height of the bases, and add the correct BH base height rings to fit.
