Scope with pard 007sp

Looking for peoples views on what scope to use with a pard nv007sp. I'm trying to use it currently on a 223 for foxing with a zeiss victory v8 and it's pretty poor. I have a hawke on my hmr and it's much much better.

Criteria is I take the notion every now and again to spend a day and shoot targets so I don't think digital is for me.

I do have a burris 5-30x56 6xe which was a good scope but way too much base mag at x5

Hello, I used a Hawke side focus on my Pard 007 and it worked well once i had set up, This was on a CZ 455, 3 X 12 X 50 and was set on 4 mag best

The Zeiss glass possibly has ir filtering coatings.

Low mag variable Hawke scope with parallax, work very well, i use on my 204 - at 2oo yds the clarity and ID etc is very good you will need a decent IR I use the ward IR’s covert for short range and the standard long range one for longer shots on my 007 sp

I've used both Hawke Airmax and Sidewinders with my Pards. They do the job.

I have a 4-48x65 vector Salem I use with my 007sp I will be selling if you are interested, big lens lets in lots of light and nice wide fov at the bottom end too
