If you could scrape up to a 50 mm objective I have two Schmidt and bender Klassics sitting. One with BDC one without that I could be tempted to part with.

It's worth noting that there is no 'Z' or ‘AV' version of the Swarovski 6x42. The last & best iteration of the 6x42 is the 'PF'.

The PF series (fixed power, 30mm or 1” tube), PV (variables, 30mm tube) & AV (variables, 1" tube) were contemporary with each other & immediately preceded the 'Z' series.

Don’t forget Meopta. Very good glass and cheaper than most. 6x42,ect.

Very good glass, but my one meopta developed a really weird bubble in one of the lenses, and the inside of the tube spotted up with rust.

Wasn't able to organise a repair so sold it on for cheap, now have a Swaro Habicht on the rifle and have never looked back.

a 3.5-10x40 with M3 turrets
a 3-9x36 with M3 turrets
also a 4.5-14x50 with the tall turrets

all mildot rets

Exactly what I’m after, that said, I bet it’s over my budget as I have never paid more than £175 for a Schmidt 6x42. Last one was £125

Fraid so. I bought it on here about 2 years ago for 300. I've never used it, it's almost like new.

That’s not toooo bad I’ll sleep on it, and if I get a good nights sleep, kids and puppy allowing, I might just bite it is, essentially, just what I’m after. Regular reticle I assume ?
