Yesterday I put a wanted ad for some magnum large rifle primers. I had a fantastic response and have now sourced my requirement.

I would just like to say thank you to all those that responded with kind offers and to highlight that it is this sort of spirit that makes SD a great forum and community. Long may it continue.

Similar experience here with the SD community.

Plenty of very positive responses to help, advice, mentoring, outings & equipment when I've asked.

TSD got me on the DSC1.

Had my first deer from an (ex) member, even had few disagreements with him the past, he still offered to take me out.

After posting for a mentor, a member kindly took me out on their permission to show me the ropes, deer signs, tracks, habitat etc. That was greatly appreciated.

Two other members have offered the possibility of some other upcoming outings and trips.

The positives vastly outweigh any negative interactions I've had.

Thanks to the site staff, admin & SD members (no, I'm not trying to up my chances in the monthly draw, haha).

I can only echo the thoughts and praise that has been said in the previous 2 posts.
I have only been a member of The Stalking Directory for 23 years so I am a relative "youngster" but the help, encouragement, hints, tips and advice that I have been shown by members if faultless and so plentiful. Further to that when I have had "personal problems" or "difficult times" in my life and have mentioned it on here there has always been member(s) who have contacted me and helped and supported me.
I have met an awful lot of friends through The Stalking Directory - Not just friends who have offered help, advice and some real bargains through The Classified Section but REAL and TRUE Friends, the ones that are always there when you need them the most.
I can offer nothing but my highest praise for The Stalking Directory and hope that it will continue long after I am gone and it's members will continue to help others the way that it's members have helped me and so many others through so many times and in so many ways!
Even though I no longer shoot I continue to follow The Stalking Directory and hope to do so for as long as I am able!
