Sometimes when one is at an odds with the world for reasons beyond one’s control when your faith in fellow humans has all but disappeared it is wonderful when another human restores that balance . We saw it a lot in covid kindness , slower pace of life but lately the rat race is at its worse !
I put an ad out for some Optilock bases and a gentleman offered to send some and if they fitted I’d ping some £ ! TRUST firstly . On hearing of a family tragedy he then refused payment! 2nd GENEROSITY
What a gent the money will be donated to charity and the gent involved will be held in great esteem you know who you are sir I tip my hat . The SD at its finest

Well played , most of the gents I have met on this site have become friends, good friends, their ilk is one of a kind , and we will do each other a good turn turn at the drop.of a hat,( and I've had some great conversations my pm.with many I've not met of the same ilk , from.dog advice to fishing / camping etc )

Indeed,

Been in contact and met some good people on here.

Had offers to shoot which have been taken up, future ventures and mentoring which was greatly appreciated.

When or if I'm ever in the same position to return the favour to those members or offer the same opportunities to someone else as I have had, then I will.
