Ardverikie Estate is located in the Scottish Highlands, and we require a physically fit person to work outdoors with our deerstalking team for the coming season. No shooting or deerstalking experience is necessary, but candidates will need to demonstrate that they can communicate effectively via radios, have a good sense of direction and a willingness to engage with clients and estate owners in an appropriate way.
The position has a start date of 29th July with an initial commitment to middle of October. For a good candidate this could be extended to mid-February.
Applicants will be required to work outside in all weathers, assisting the deer stalkers with recovery of shot deer carcasses using an Argo ATV and by dragging and assisting in the deer larder.
Full training and certification for Argo ATV will be provided, along with fully expensed shared accommodation in a comfortable cottage on the estate, and an excellent rate of pay.
This position is ideal for a person who wishes to gain valuable experience of the sporting aspects of a highland estate. Full UK driving licence essential.
