Exactly what I was thinking after watching that!
Someone’s got to ask, what was the first most dangerous thing ?
I went to our game shoot to find a member's son zero'ing his first rifle with his mate. The rifle was a .17 HMR, the mate was setting up a target about 50m away, then he stood 10m off to the side of the target. The new rifle owner then aimed and fired at the target with the other kid still in position and before I could stop him. Happily no-one was injured or worse.

Only going to help find the body at the end of the drive though really isn’t it….No wonder they wear orange.
Come on - it was way more than 10m and how else were we meant to see those tiny little holes?I went to our game shoot to find a member's son zero'ing his first rifle with his mate. There are people who definitely should not own guns.
Sadly it happens, experienced similar situation a few years back on a small shoot at the end of a drive, except it was the beaters the other side of the hedge. Not good fortunately no one was injured.A few weeks ago I was on a syndicate day on our little rough shoot. One of the others had brought a guest. Said guest shot at a pheasant that was probably 6 feet off the ground. His backstop was a hedge, on the other side of which was another Gun. Words were had. Guests are no longer permitted.
At least that won't happen again, roads hardly get fixed in west cork. Kerry & Dublin have better roads. My second most dangerous thing I ever saw was in the early 90's when I was driving my XR3i down to west Cork one early evening and came upon a stretch of road that had been covered in loose gravel. Council job at the time, they dug out the potholes perimeters and put about a quarter of a mile of gravel on a bendy main road with no prior warning whatsoever. Not a slow down sign anywhere on the road before it, mini machines parked wrong all over the edges of the gravel rink and I only after the car cleaned. Handled it like a boss.
