Seems as if we are in the argument about if my Aunt had balls she'd be my Uncle. For the moot point is that regardless of what the law says the gunsmith does not want to accept it unless it gets to him by the route he has specified. So that as far as I see is what is relevant. That it can be sent by Parcelforce or whomsoever else is thus irrelevant to the original query as far as what it is wanted to achieve.
