Seriously heavy Duty and actually Waterproof trousers recomendations please

Waterproof or not.
Almost nothing is 100% waterproof in country clothing. The reason why is that the membranes used are graded and all will leak at some point beyond there certification level.
1000mm shower proof if your lucky
5000mm light rain proof
10,000mm Prolonged rain
15,0000mm Heavy Prolonged rain
50,000mm Heavy Driving Stormforce Rain.

A column of water in a 1"square tube is placed on the membrane, 5,000, is 5 metres, 10,000 is 10metres. etc. Water will leak through on a 5000mm membrane when 5100mm of water are used.

We as retailers should ask proper questions and find out what weather you are expecting to be in so we can sell or not sell the correct product to meet your needs

I like my Seeland Crieff overtrousers, bought from a local country store. TFM Superstore | Farm Supplies, Agricultural and Country Stores
They have some in stock for £54.12 + vat, but are not listed on the website.

Wash them in something like Fabsil occasionally and they are pretty good. I dont do a lot of kneeling in puddles, though i must say.

(although in my profile pic I do appear to be kneeling in a moist beaver!)
