Setting bullet seating with feller gauge

Sometime ago I read a tread on here about setting bullet seating dies with feller gauges. I can seem to find the thread, seating depth isn’t something I mess with but I would like to either read the thread again of have someone explain how it’s done.

"Feeler" that might help your search but not a technique I'm familiar with

You can do a shoulder bump of 2 thou using feeler guages ut I have never heard of that used to seat bullets. Use a vernier or a Hornady or Derraco comparator or if you have Lee dies they now do a micrometer addon to screw into their dies.

Dial is IMO better than digital.
