Setting up Deer stalks

I’ve recently been trying to sort out a stalk with a few users on here , how long do you think it regularly takes to set up stalks especially if there your first stalk

Yeah I’ve noticed , I tried to sort out one with muntjac stalker , Jason , and he’s got a back log till next year

Should take a phone call - that’s it.
Just explain that you are new and that you want to learn and a good guide will sort you out.
Most of the guides I have found either have a backlog , charge too high for me , or don’t respond I ll keep trying eventually I’ll find one , I’m also gonna sort out range time as well

Let me see if I can get you some details.
You have to be prepared to pay a bit tho - a stalk fee, maybe a shot fee and a carcass fee if you want to take the beast home, plus an estate rifle fee if you don’t have a rifle and or stalking permitted with it.
Expect to pay £200+ as a minimum for a cull animal and you won’t be disappointed when you get their costs back!

As for being booked up, well it’s the main culling season so everyone has to get in line

What's your budget realistically?Nows the time to get on the does and hopefully get somehing for the freezer.I'd budget £300 for a morning & evening stalk, and taking a carcase home.If i was closer I'd take you out.

From the stalkers of seen my budget is base rough between 100-200 pounds , I’m not going for bucks due to the fact A it’s expensive and B I still haven’t figured out how I’m gonna deal with the carcass

Would I have to pay to take it home or you take it as of current I don’t know how I’m gonna be able to do so as I don’t have the space or experience to

I can get to Norfolk definitely I’ve go a sister living close by up there , she’s a sea right now but she will be back very soon

PM DS deer management on here. He will respond quickly and usually has slots available and has plenty of fallow on his ground. And good rates, knows his stuff as well
