I ordered these several months ago to keep stock levels up but in the fine-ish weather we've had I stoked up my melting pot and cast the best part of 500 145 grn, 150grn and a few 170 grn 30 cal boolits so this recently arrived box is surplus to requirements.
Shell house is quoting 10 -12 weeks lead time and by the time you add postage it's £40 +. So for £37.50 inc post you can have them by the end of next week.
They work fine in my Win 94 30/30, even better in my mates Marlin 30/30 and are pretty damn good in my BLR 308. I use 16 grains of N110 in 30/30 and 18 grains N110 in 308 for around 1600 -1800fps. That's purely as a guide you'll have to sort your own loads out. However you do it, just crimp them on the front groove and they'll work good.
They were sized by shellhouse at 0.309" and that's been OK for me.
If they don't sell I may decide to live long enough to use them as I'm not too fond of casting at my time of life, as this past week demonstrated to me.
