Shooting seats/stools

Has anyone used one of these Ta da seats for their hide or targets shooting with a tripod?

Many such seats are a bit on the low side for extended use. 50cm is 19 and a bit inches - compare this to any chair you use at home, and determine if it is enough, allowing for an inch or two of loss of height owing to softer ground.

Not my first choice.

I use a School/Collage chair for pigeon shooting as they are cheap also designed to be sat in all day every day.
I also use them in some of my high seats.

I have been using one of these a while now, comes in 3 pcs with a carry strap, you can adjust the legs and the rifle rest is a real bonus as its adjustable and surprisingly very solid and works well, the seat swivels, made very well for just over a £100 but definitely worth the money, height wise perfect adjustable height and stable boots on the bottom no slip or sinking
Real asset when sitting out
I left the rest off and used my quad sticks a couple of times but no difference both were aIMG_6659.webp solid rest

Fold it up and just carry to where you want to go on the shoulder strap 👍

i use an old small pub stool for both that i got 20 years ago from the cricket club when they were doing a refurb, perfect for both.

like this but not as new :D

That seems very expensive for what it is, if you want a lightweight seat, try the telescopic plastic ones, quite comfy although you are a little sceptical when you first use them, or the drum type that allow you to carry kit inside
