Shooting trousers?

Right, I think everyone will have their own opinion but you can’t beat tried and tested reviews..

I’ve had some Harkila pro hunters and they were really comfy. Always felt they got a bit damp at the knees but couldn’t decide whether this was due to actual damp/leaking or whether they just felt cold after kneeling ect.

I’d buy another pair of harkila if nothing else was thought better. However I’ve generally been fairly impressed with deerhunter range so would consider them? They’ve a muflon pair of trousers and I really like the muflon jacket. Or any other makes folk on here swear by?

Cheers!

My deer hunter didn't stay waterproof for that long, equally so with a pair of Jack Pyke. I've currently got a pair of Hoggs of Fife trousers which are warm and appear to be holding up pretty well (Kincraig I think??) I tend to find that a good walk through a couple of fields of wet kale is as good a test as any and so far these are pretty damed good! I've also just ordered a pair of Fjallraven Brenner Pro's so we'll see how they perform.

For warm and dry

1. Nomad - but they have now near worn out after 15years.

2. Rivers West - I never ever thought Nomad could be beat but these do. Absolutely brilliant. Kneel on snow or mud and bone dry. Toasty. There in lies the rub - cold weather only. Lots of pockets. I bought mine used for £25 - I'd pay pro hunter money (which for me must rate as the most rubbish trousers ever for the money) for them based on the last 2 months.
