Wanted: Shropshire shooting

Hi guys,

Not so much looking for stalking as I have this covered already - I’m just looking for some land I can shoot targets on upto 500+ yards . Not sure where to post this so I’ll post it here .

I am of course a member of clubs etc - just looking for something a bit more private I can go to once a month or so .

Recently moved into the Shropshire area

Looking for somewhere to use my FAC ( 22-223-6.5 creed) - if someone knows a land owner who would like to meet me and fingers crossed let me on their land that would be great . I have land down in south wales I can shoot on but nothing in the Shropshire area ( happy to travel a hour )

Happy to pay the landowner £1000 or more per annum depending on the range available - and the person who can point me in the right direction £300 also .

Main use would be target shooting once or twice a month . Happy to help with vermin if required .

For that money, wouldn't it be better to go to somewhere like Orion in Wales - FAQs

"The main shooting range has covered firing points which allows you to shoot from 50 to 900 metres. To shoot further than 900m does require being outdoors and may involve some walking in rough and hilly terrain."

59 mins away from Craven Arms, granted, it's not as private.

I dont know you're FAC conditions but it may avoid any of that hassle if they're only club conditioned rifles.

I have some ground just North of Shrewsbury that you can shoot well over 500 yards and safe to shoot a cannon on!
Im sure no fee would be needed but currently cannot access it because theres cereal on it

Contact Iwan at North Wales Fieldsports, he’s got a 1000m range and a spot to shoot a mile on about 10 mins from Wrexham
