Think it’s only a matter of time before they’re up and down the length of the country. Which is a shame from a hybridisation point of view,(although the venison is great).
Would be interested to know from folk who have both on their ground whether they feel the sika outcompete the reds. They seem to be more hardy from what I’ve seen but whether there is any truth in that I don’t know.
