Wanted: Sika judging

A fellow member kindly asked me to shoot some Sika next year.

As this is a species I know little about I wondered if any member living nearby would allow me to use his highseats to have a good look at them by spotting scope and camera so that I can start judging ages. No rifle at all.

All I need is to be shown to the highseat or hilltop where there are lots of Sika. I see this as part of shooting preparation so I would ofcourse pay a fee.

I live near Sherborne in Dorset.

Try the nature reserve at Arne.

The RSPB: Arne

Not a million miles away from you.

You will see sika there. May get a close encounter like this guy did.

Without doubt Arne is probably your best bet to see Sika in very good numbers, also the Nat trust ground at Hartland moor very close to Arne.
