For Sale: Single Galvanised High Seats

I am now making generously sized single highseats to complement the doubles that I have advertised on here for a little while.


Single galvanised lean-to high seats

- Fully hot-dip galvanised.
- Generously sized
- Treated timber bench section.
- 3 meters in height from floor to bench.
- Splayed lower ladder section to make standing the seat up far easier, especially if alone.
- Ladder splits into 2 sections.
- Height of shooting rail is FULLY adjustable and is FIXED in 4 places for superb shooting stability.
- Tree rest is higher up the back of the bench to allow seat to be positioned on twisted trees without the use of an extra spacer attachment.
- Bench and rail sections separate for stacking and to ease transportation.
- Simple nut and bolt assembly

Would it be possible for you to do 12 seats? It would be waiting on a woodland grant though so it normally takes a few months for that to be approved before can confirm.

Is the box section steel work vented for internal galvanising and drainage please ?

Yes they are, george pointed this out when I brought one off of him

They certainly are, almost 70 holes per seat! Doesn’t matter what way they are dipped at the galvanisers, they will still be fully vented regardless.

I started making them yesterday as it happens, I need to draw some plates and cleats for laser cutting then I will be able to make them to order. I hadn’t forgotten your request though, I will be in touch before I advertise them

I can’t help you out a great deal I’m afraid as mine are done through conservation charities and trusts so they apply themselves for them. Sorry can’t help more than that as never applied myself.

I am now making both single and double seats again after a short break with other work commitments. I have now outsourced all cutting of materials to massively reduce lead times and plan to keep stock of a few seats and all components permanently. Please get in touch if I can help

I collected one of George's single high-seats yesterday - we needed one in a hurry for a new piece of land and fortunately George had one ready to go.

They are very well made, excellent design, easy to assemble and I am sure we will soon be buying more.
