Skellerup Quattro Sport Review....5*

If anyone is in the market for an excellent pair of wellies I would seriously recommend these from Skellerup.

I do about 6 miles a day Dog walking and lots of other stuff in between giving any wellies a good workout.

I have previously had Le Chameau, Aigle, Harkila and Muck boots but none of them were as comfortable, grippy or as warm as these.

Sizing wise they are on the money and have a sculpted insole which really helps stabilise your foot in the boot.

The sole has a brilliant tread pattern which is great on slopes, thick mud and snow.

For £80 there are boots double the price which are nowhere near as good.

I got a great price and service from these guys.

Totally agree. Been trying to tell anyone who will listen for the past few years how good the Quatro range is from Skellerup. We use the insulated boots on the farm and they do two seasons of proper hard daily work. That more than doubles what previous offerings would give. They are bloody warm and comfy as you well know

You said it! I use a pair of lined Skellerup Quatros - the high ones. Had them about 5 months now and they are bloody marvellous. Wear them everywhere out in the paddocks even in the middle of summer (37°C yesterday :) ). Seem to be snake repellent as well. Haven't seen a snake in months.

Cheers

I have a pair of Skellerup Quatro Safety wellies for work (builder). They are excellent and a good fit for my wide duck feet.

Thanks for sharing Ben. Look great and may just be ones to replace my decade old Le Chameau boots. New Le Chameaus just don't seem to be up to the quality or value of the older ones.

I've just received some if these boots in the post. They're way too thick, heavy, bulky and stiff for me. They're huge around the calves too. Foot sizing was good for me (they're sized big & wide).

I wanted to like them but they would have made stalking noisy and tiring, so they'll unfortunately have to go back.

I had my pair two years now and are excellent. They are however a sturdy robust warm boot so not your summer lightweight stalking welly. They are truly fabulous in wet cold and muddy conditions and despite the strange tread pattern give tremendous grip. They are however a very robust hard-wearing boot. If you need a tighter fitting lightweight Sumner stalking welly then look at the range in Decathalon.

Yes look on line. One place is much cheaper but can't remember the name. Try a local place and haggle a deal see if they will.price match.
Great boots and in the current weather indispensable.

Big thumbs up for a great boot. 2 years constant wear and still as good as new. Will definitely buy another pair when the time comes

Thanks chaps!
Just had my Jack Pyke everyday wellies replaced under warranty, last two pairs split in exactly the same spot - just at the base of lhs big toe about half an inch above the sole so this recommendation is very well timed for me.
