Wanted: SMLE woodwork - HELP required

I have a 1944 Lithgow SMLE MK III* that has a split fore end - mid-screw to trigger guard. On stock removal, the section at the back with the draws and recoil plate (?) fell out - obviously a previous repair that had failed. Explained the ever-changing accuracy of late. The split stock has been oiled to within an inch of it's life in the past and so a repair will be fraught with problems and possibly only temporary anyway.

Before I take the big leap into buying replacement woodwork, I thought I'd reach out to this group to...
a) see if anyone had any spare woodwork kicking around (long shot, I know)
and
b) get recommendations on where to buy if it comes to that.

Thanks

Mark

A couple of pertinent ones attached. Looks like a previous repair had failed.

Thanks for the chat, Rob. I'll definitely take you up on your offer of a brew and a chat next time I am passing.
As you can see from the other pictures, a bit more extensive damage and looking more and more likely it will need new woodwork.

Regards

Mark
