Crivens! Another one has finally, finally gone! You don’t think it has anything to do with the forthcoming report which might, just might show that “footba” was not all that he his son was watching on the government computer - on holiday - and on the taxpayer?

He should never have had his "expenses" signed off in the first place.......who signed the claim off initially??? Considering there is supposed to be a maximum payment permissible of £200, it raises more questions. Added to that Hamas Useless stood by him and gave him his "complete support", which shows how inept this complete rabble are.
My only fear is that the SNP/Green idiots have still got another two years to screw everything else up before they're booted out!
Mind you, when you see the financial black hole in NHS Scotland's finances, I would imagine Matheson would be only too pleased to go!

Not excusing the man but I don't think it was an expenses claim as such. It was the bill to his official mobile which would be automatically paid.
That said there should have been a system that flagged this level of bill,or better still a data limit.
I worked fora Scot Govt agency unit recently. There used to be a limit on data usage but this was removed so that staff could use Teams or access systems uninterrupted while mobile or from home

What really boils my proverbial is the electorate’s utter blindness to all their serial shenanigans - a bunch of gutter “politicians” of the lowest order odour.

The electorate as a whole are very much aware. It's only those ignorant fools who keep their heads in the sand, a la three monkeys.

Indeed, however the fact he was using an out of date sim card in his iPad (against advice from the Holyrood guidance) and he tried to have the bill reduced despite it being his own responsibility and then was quite happy to have the bill paid for until the facts hit the press......and then he agreed to pay it.
They are all made aware of the correct messaging procedures and phone/mobile/ipad contracts - not that you would guess it from the shenanigans surrounding the Covid enquiry and the missing whatsapp messages but that's another story.....
