Greetings fellow caravan types ,looking for recommendations on a decent solar panel to charge our caravan " off grid."
Fed up with spurious Chinese claims of will charge up drax power station and reading reviews that say wouldn't charge a hamster .
Over to you end users any decent suggestions and any pitfalls 🤔.
Thanks in advance ☺️

I run a Renogy 100w folding panel on mine (off amazon). We only tend to use at at the game fair off grid as we're on a hookup at the other sites we use. I'm really happy with it, will keep the battery fully charged for the 5 days as long as your sensible with the van lights (converted to led)etc. We do use power banks to charge things up. I fitted a mini anderson socket on fly leads to the battery and use extension leads from this to the panel as our van is 26ft. It came in a nice case and seems really well made. Worth a look.

I use two Renolgy 100w flexible panels for my motorhome along with two 110Ah lead acid batteries. These work well together for our use apart from December and January when they generate almost nothing due to little and low sun.
There isn’t a great deal of difference between brands but the reality is that having a bigger fuel tank (battery Ah) is better than limited fuel stations (solar).
We can easily manage three nights in mid winter with the two batteries and that’s with a TV for a few hours each night

I've found these guys very helpful in the past.

Not quite what your’e asking, but I’ve been using the Anker Solis power pack with extension battery (2kw) for a year now and have been very impressed with its performance and quick charging - bought from Costco for a very good price. I’ve been looking at the Anker 400w panels to go with it and will shortly pull the trigger as I’ve now read so many positive reviews. This is the 200w panel set (400w not being currently stocked):
