Yep, 4098 ft-lb, a bit much for roe
.Ran the figures again yesterday, my load vs .338 Lap Mag, Sierra 250 gr Matchking factory load. Drop at 5000 yards is 176 vs 240 mil respectively.
As for the HME, Nah, not really.
Use a 300 Win Mag target, one in the circle then 3 in the box, back to the range office for sign off. Once you know your scope adjustments it’s dead easy.
