Last night, I emailed Best Fox Call detailing the issue, I've had a very helpful response from Rob at Best Fox Call. They have offered a refurbished unit, whilst awaiting new stock.
I just have to wait now and hope they have a refurbished unit in stock.
I'll post when it arrives, as good service should be flagged up.

Well, here's an update on my dealings with Rob at Best Fox Call.
Today. I recieved the replacement, refurbished remote for my Gen2 GC 500. This was offered as a temporary solution, as new units are out of stock. Brilliant.
I can't fault the service.
