Not dealt with "Spud" but TBF Brownell's offer items in stock and they are!! But in America. I have had some long delivery times and think the web pages should state in stock UK.

Agreed, but my particular experience, after a lifetime of ordering strange & interesting kit from abroad, is both sobering and a lesson I had hoped never to learn. The irony that UK shooting community procurement of overseas product in 2026 is severely limited, at a time when global comms is at its most unrestricted, has not escaped me.

Gone are the days when you could view the Brownells (US) catalogue, order an item and await delivery with expectation you may or may not get hit with an Import Duty fee but it would arrive in good time!

I’ve used spud’s services (Sales items and case prep.) for many years and enjoyed excellent prices and deliveries.
If I’ve placed a back order I just forget about it and do something else until it arrives.
