Spypoint Link Dark LTE reset?

Looking for help. We've been given 4 of these Trail cams. Unfortunately no instructions though.
I managed to set them up, but after switching off, then on, they are not memorising the Date or Time. Everything else is remembered and everything works ok.
The date and time a photograph is taken seems like a key feature of a trail cam :-| .
I've downloaded the latest version of upgrade, tried to install it and all went well until the camera failed to reboot. Now when it's switched on all it shows is the Spypoint logo.
Despite an hour on Google I can not find anything about a reset.
Any help - apart from suggestions to phone Canada - would be greatly appreciated.
 
It is possible you have downloaded the wrong version of the update - it is not clear on the website. I would format the SD card and try a fresh flash of the update - it can take some time to load, so be patient with it.
(This is what SpyPoint will tell you to do should you contact them using webchat).

In terms of time and date, there is a sneaky 'save' button at the top of that page that many do not realise you need to click.

Take note of the light flash sequence when you turn it on as this can also be a clue.
