Does anyone else’s dog like watching nature programs!! She never looks at the tele for anything else, but put a wildlife program on and that’s her for the duration!

She rarely gets up, although barks if a fox comes on the screen and has just tried to flush a polar bear from behind the log basket! 😂

Not my 2 cockers bitches. The wifes Westie was nuts about Dinosaurs though. He would sit watching them and when they walked off the screen he would try and get round the side to look where they'd gone. Only Dinosaurs and nothing else.

my two Teckles the older one sits and watches tv all the time and if a animal runs across the screen it runs behind the telly waiting for it to come out the back, the other one Mr Cool looks at me as if to say “ what’s he like”

Current dogs don’t notice but when I was a young teenager our pointers both used to start howling to accompany the Colditz theme music.

Our first rescue Spaniel used howl like a Beagle to the music from Eastenders.

Happy to let him have his moment but he never (and I mean never) got to watch that utter tripe.

Apropos Eastenders.

My Father arrested Leslie Grantham ("Dirty Den") back in the day, for murder.

He only served 10 years, which always seemed a wee bit light for me.

Had to put my last Border bitch in another room when we used to have a TV. Watching a film on Roe one night and she hit the screen when a close up came on.

Sat watching a Attenborough documentary a while back and a large Siberian tiger appears from a cave. 6 month old Parsons went mental, trying to climb up fire placer to get to TV!

My border watches all sorts spaniel won’t look twice unless there’s some form of noise he associates with game.

Mrs Gunn taught Brocket, the cocker spaniel, to “sing” whenever The Archers theme tune played on the radio.

She thought it showed just how smart both she and Brocket could be. It was pretty impressive - if not downright hilarious - the first day or two.

Here we are, 10 years later, and the bl**dy spaniel still starts howling at 19:02 every week day

Had a fell terrier bitch that used to go into full attack mode whenever a certain news reader appeared on the screen
