Squeaking Le Chameau Wellies

Hi,

I have recently purchased a pair of Le Chameau Vierzonord plus wellies. I like them apart from the fact they make a squeaking noise when walking which is coming from the rubber wear pad on the heal of the boot.

Does anyone have any tips on how to prevent the squeaking?

Nope, but that pad is the worst feature in them, pulls socks down constantly, and rubs, I got rid of the only ones of them I’ve ever had and upgraded (at the time) to the leather lined ones, but they don’t last like they used to and just are t worth the asking price anymore sadly.

You could try a liberal application of talc but it’ll need doing regularly I suspect.

I tried full-foot sorbothane insoles. They're pretty thick along their whole length and raised my foot against the inside top of the boot. Boots don't squeak now.

Bama sockets will stop your foot moving inside as you walk and stop your socks wearing at the heal and stop your socks sliding down
