Hirschjagd in der Nähe von Brora
Ende September ging es für mich zum ersten Mal auf Rothirschjagd in Schottland – genauer gesagt in der Nähe von Brora. Unsere Jagd war genauso, wie ich sie mir vorgestellt hatte: anspruchsvoll und herausfordernd – eben eine richtige Jagd.
Unser Guide Scott hat wirklich alles gegeben und die Jagdtage zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht. Vielen Dank dafür (vielleicht liest er das hier ja).
Mich hat der respektvolle Umgang mit dem Rothirsch tief beeindruckt – etwas, das leider immer seltener vorkommt.
Ich möchte Schottland für seine großartigen Landschaften, seine Kultur und vor allem seine Gastfreundschaft danken. Vielen Dank aus Deutschland.

Stag Hunt near Brora
At the end of September, I went on my first red deer hunt in Scotland – more precisely near Brora. Our hunt was exactly as I had imagined it: demanding and challenging – a real hunt.
Our guide, Scott, truly gave his all and made the hunting days an unforgettable experience. Many thanks for that (maybe he’s reading this).
I was deeply impressed by the respectful treatment of the red deer – something that, unfortunately, is becoming increasingly rare.
I would like to thank Scotland for its magnificent landscapes, its culture, and above all, its hospitality. Many thanks from Germany.
