Wanted: Stalking on Jura or Islay (August 2026)

Looking for a days stalking on Jura or Islay.
Not looking for anything particular special, cull stag would be fine - going more for the experience!

In Islay 22-23 August
And Jura 24-25 August

Any recommendations for individual stalking guides and/or sporting estates who offer outings would be great.

Fonthill Estate own about 35,000 acres. would be a good place to start.

Brilliant choice of island to stalk on , I’d go with Jura and Craig Rozga,lovely boat trip to the deer.

Saying that ,most of them will have boats to get about on.

Of the two islands if it comes to it , choose Jura.

If you decide to go to Islay, you could always try the Gearach, also worth looking at the Bridgend Hotel for accommodation and stalking.
And take loads of anti midge/tick spray!
