Looking to go to the Stalking Show for the first time this year. I was wondering what are others opinions on the show as a whole? As well as would it be advisable to go for both days to be able to properly look round? Or does one day suffice? Currently looking at sorting accommodation/ time off work so would be curious to know. Thanks
 
It’s not the largest show around but if you don’t have to travel too far it’s well worth a visit.
 
I thought that last year was really good. No it is not the biggest show in the world, but that means that the stall sit had were targeted for the audience. I looked all around, I bought a few bits and had some chats and saw a couple of the displays i fancied watching. Two days, no i would not need that. Was it worth it... well to answer that, I am taking time off work to go again this year.

I’m going again this year. One day will do, but last time there were enough relevant and well stocked exhibitors, interesting people to speak to, all in all a good experience.
 
I was there last year it was excellent. Hopefully even better this year.
Far superior to the stalking fair at kelso. Which at the time was good
 
It’s an awesome show and well worth a trip. Big enough that there is plenty to look at but not so big that you get lost in the noise. The stands are all operated by true stalking/shooting traders and stocked with worthwhile and usable kit, not like the typical country fairs of today. A group of us went last year and are going again this year with long wish lists!
 
I went last year it was not huge but a lot of interesting stalls and demos almost all stalking related no timeshare or jacuzzi stands.

Most of the demos, butchering, cooking etc were really good.

You can easily do it in half a day, a full day if you take in a lot of the demos.

Don‘t pay extra for priority parking. I did last year only to find priority and non priority parking were both onsite with priority parking being about 100 yards closer to the door, I live and learn.
 
Apparently there is a full upstairs there this year as well as a full downstairs so I think it’s a fair bit bigger. I know this is because our stand is upstairs 😀.

The organisers are being very selective about who gets a stand to ensure all traders are going to be stalking related. We had a 30 min phone interview just to make sure we were contributing to the world of stalking. All that said they are putting on a load of small stands for small start up type companies at cheap rates provided you are contributing to the sport.

Anyone who goes please come by for a chat be nice to put some names and faces to user id’s.
